Gameloft’s survey for Disney Dreamlight Valley reveals potential character additions for upcoming updates in the simulator. Disney Dreamlight Valley, initially launched in early access in September 2022, saw its official release in December 2023, accompanied by its first paid expansion, “A Rift in Time.”
The paid expansion introduced players to a new world called Eternity Isle, featuring three distinct biomes: Ancient’s Landing, Glittering Dunes, and Wild Tangle. Alongside these new areas came fresh characters, quests, and resources. Now, as part of the ongoing engagement with the community, Gameloft seeks player opinions on which characters they’d like to see added in future updates.

- Timon and Pumbaa from The Lion King
- Rex and Bo Peep from Toy Story
Players are encouraged to express their preferences among these choices. Additionally, the survey touches upon potential new Star Path themes, with one recent example being a Frozen-themed Star Path. Other themes under consideration include a Disney Classics Star Path, featuring characters like Pinocchio, Peter Pan, and Robin Hood.
While the survey responses will guide future character inclusions, the developers have already outlined their 2024 roadmap for Disney Dreamlight Valley. The roadmap promises the addition of Princess Tiana from The Princess and the Frog, as well as Mike and Sully from Monsters Inc., all slated to join the game by the end of Summer 2024 without any extra cost to players.
While the survey outcomes don’t guarantee immediate implementation, the engagement reflects Gameloft’s commitment to community feedback. Characters from established franchises in the game propose an expanded, familiar realm and new biome introductions. Players can anticipate ongoing support and creative updates for Disney Dreamlight Valley in the months to come.
