Acheron, also known as The Emanator of Nihility and a highly anticipated character from Penacony, has been making waves in the Honkai Star Rail community. While she’s not set for release in the upcoming 2.0 patch banners, her kit was revealed in the 2.0 beta, showcasing significant upgrades. Notably, Acheron exhibits excellent compatibility with Nihility characters and stands as the second 5-star Lightning Nihility character, following Kafka.
Detailed Breakdown of Acheron’s Revamped Kit in Honkai Star Rail 2.0 Beta

Talent: Acheron’s unique mechanic involves starting with ‘O’ flowers. She operates without energy and can’t gain energy. Her actions place flowers on enemies, with a maximum of 9(?) on the field. When an enemy falls, their flowers transfer to the enemy with the most flowers. Reaching the maximum flower count enables Acheron’s ultimate ability.
Normal Attack: Targets a single enemy, bestowing 1 flower on them.
Skill Attack: Executes a blast attack on enemies, with the primary target receiving 2 flowers.
Ultimate Ability: During her ult, Acheron lowers the DamageRES of all foes. Her attacks in this phase bypass Weakness Types, consisting of four rapid actions, each reducing flower count and triggering AoE attacks proportional to the flowers removed.
Technique: At combat start, Acheron places additional flowers on the highest-ranking enemy and launches an AoE attack on all foes.
Ascensions:
- A2 and A4 focus on generating extra flowers and boosting attack damage based on Nihility teammates.
- A6 enhances her ult with a DMG% buff per consumed flower.
Eidolons:
- E1 increases ATK% and Crit Chance% when debuffs are applied.
- E2 lessens A4 Nihility requirements and adds a flower at the start of Acheron’s turn.
- E4 applies a debuff increasing damage taken by enemies at her ult’s onset.
- E6 significantly boosts her ult’s CritDMG and reclassifies her basic and skill attacks as ultimate attacks.
Upcoming Arrival: Acheron is slated to debut in patch 2.1 alongside Sam, another new 5-star character. As the first playable Emanator in Honkai Star Rail, her design draws inspiration from Raiden Mei (GGZ and Honkai: Star Rail) and Raiden Shogun (Genshin Impact).
