These statues are not just decorative; they play key roles in puzzle-solving and exploration. Among them, players can move the Carefree Simulacra to solve puzzles, use the Flighty Simulacra to reach higher ground, and the Wrathful Simulacra to quickly traverse areas by interacting with water orbs.
Despite being sacred, these statues often face danger from humans and nature alike. A notable case involves a Carefree Simulacra caged on Mt. Mingyuan, which requires a special key for its rescue.
Finding the Strange Key in Chenyu Vale
The quest for the Strange Key begins at the Teleport Waypoint located in the northwest extremity of Jademouth. From there, players head southwest toward a tunnel, where a large boulder and Treasure Hoarders block the way. Descending from the cliff, they will encounter additional Treasure Hoarders and a formidable boss known as Who Am I?
Defeating these opponents uncovers a glowing spot on the ground where the Strange Key can be found.
Utilizing the Strange Key in Chenyu Vale
After getting the Strange Key, players use the Flighty Simulacra to climb the cliff and reach the cage holding the Carefree Simulacra. Adjacent to the cage, an Exquisite Chest is available, offering rewards including five Primogems and four Geo Sigils. After you free the Carefree Simulacra, it asks you to escort it back to its rightful place.
Players can trace the statue’s home by following a trail marked with pinecones, leading them eastward and upward to its designated pedestal. Successfully returning the statue to its pedestal grants players a Precious Chest, filled with 10 Primogems and five Geo Sigils, as a gesture of appreciation from the grateful statue.
