The main attraction is a brand-new Cult of the Lamb game mode that draws heavily from Don’t Starve Together. Your lamb protagonist, Penitence, has the same earthly wants as your adorable and poop-obsessed fans. In other words, in addition to supporting your cult, you also need to feed and shelter yourself. Last but not least, there are some characters passing through a “crossover portal.” Webber, from the Reign of Giants DLC for Don’t Starve, is now a cult member that can be unlocked. He now has a new “never hungry” feature, allowing you to reserve that grassy gruel for someone who genuinely needs it. In addition, Don’t Starve’s ewelets, who resemble lambs, are becoming even more lamb-like thanks to design and outfit options borrowed from the other games.
For PlayStation and Xbox systems, the update is currently accessible. The creators also mention that Cult of the Lamb will soon receive a significant content update and that Don’t Starve Together will continue to receive new content as part of its continuing From Beyond story arc.
