In Final Fantasy 7 Ever Crisis, the strength of your characters hinges significantly on the weapons they wield. Unlike traditional gacha games, which draw characters, Ever Crisis focuses on unlocking all characters from the beginning, placing weapons at the forefront of character enhancement. To bolster your arsenal and fortify your characters, here’s a guide on enhancing weapons and pushing their limits through the gacha system.
Weapon Acquisition and Gacha System
Players obtain weapons through Featured Draws, with each single pull costing 300 Blue Crystals and a 10-weapon draw requiring 3,000 crystals. Occasionally, the game offers a free daily draw for a limited time. Players can use Red Crystals, available through microtransactions, to make additional pulls. This gacha system is not for characters but exclusively for weapons and costumes.
Enhancing Weapons with Grindstone and Materials
- Initiating Enhancement: Head to the Enhance tab on the main menu and select Weapons. This unlocks the enhancement process.

- Duplicate Weapons: Pulling a duplicate five-star weapon yields 200 Parts.
- Overboosting: Overboosting enhances weapons beyond five stars. Duplicates can be exchanged for Parts. Overboosting to pink stars requires 30 duplicates.
- Additional Boosts: Weapons overboosted five times gain a +1 next to the stars, with subsequent boosts providing lesser stat increases.
- Event Opportunities: Events focus on specific weapons, providing opportunities to grind and earn enough duplicates for boosting.
